MIL-DTL-62736A(AT)
4.2.3.7.5 MDU register read. To determine conformance to 3.3.7.5:
a. Apply the logic levels in table XX for the control register at P1-21 through P1-28
and load them into the MDU by applying the waveforms of figure 3.
b. Select the MDU status register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3.
c. Apply the waveforms of figure 4 to read the MDU status register. Verify that the
logic levels match these given in table XX for the status register.
d. Select the MDU X register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3. Apply the waveforms
of figure 4, once for the high order byte and once for the low order byte. Verify
that the logic levels match those in table XIX for the X register.
e. Select the MDU Y register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3. Apply the waveforms
of figure 4, once for the high order byte and once for the low order byte. Verify
that the logic levels match those in table XIX for the Y register.
f. Select the MDU Z register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3. Apply the waveforms of
figure 4, once for the high order byte and once for the low order byte. Verify that
the logic levels match those in table XX for the Z register.

4.2.3.7.6 Multiply with add. To determine conformance to 3.3.7.6:
a. Select the MDU control register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3.
b. Apply the logic levels in table XXI at P1-21 through P1-28 and load them into the
MDU by applying the waveforms in figure 3.
c. Select the MDU X register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3 and repeat part b, once
for the high byte and once for the low byte.
d. Select the MDU Y register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3 and repeat part b, once
for the high byte and once for the low byte.
e. Select the MDU Z register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3 and repeat part b, once
for the high byte and once for the low byte.
f. Select the MDU control register using the method of 4.2.3.7.3 and repeat part b.
